November 2012 Events

Posted by Your Community Mama at 7:00 PM
Happy November Friends,

Hard to believe that Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away.  As we enter the holiday season I know that there are numerous events that we all want to take part in.  I hope that you all are able to set some time aside to volunteer in your community and to donate to the Placer Food Bank.  The donations that we make this time of year may be enough to keep them stocked up through and beyond the holidays.

As I continue sharing fun events with you, please keep checking back and letting me know if you know of an event that we should share.  In addition, make sure to stop by my facebook page where I share a lot of useful information, events, and more.

Hugs,

Your Community Mama

Roseville Holiday Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting
Saturday, Nov. 17

Bring your family and friends out early to stake out your favorite viewing area along the parade route which begins at the Vernon-Riverside-Douglas intersection, proceeds east along Vernon Street, turns right at Folsom Road and ends behind Roseville Square Shopping Center. Sponsored by the Roseville Chamber of Commerce.

Following the holiday parade, let's "deck the halls" at the Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration. Mayor Pauline Roccucci and friends will flip the switch to light the tree at 6:30 p.m. Shortly after the tree is lit, we are expecting a visit from Santa Claus. The evening's festivities also include crafts, cookie decorating and musical entertainment. Be sure to bring your camera! Find out more.
