Annual Puppet Festival

Fairytale Town
Thursdays – Sundays through June 30th
Weekdays at 10:30AM, 11:30AM & 12:30PM
Weekends at 12:30PM, 1:30PM & 2:30PM

Puppet Art Theater is back for another season filled with music, puppetry and fun! Four original shows will be performed in the Children’s Theater. Puppet Show tickets are $1 members and $2 nonmembers. All shows are performed by Puppet Art Theater Company.


Fruitvale School Annual Fundraiser & Auction
Sunday June 3rd

The annual Fruitvale BBQ will be held in June. Come and enjoy a children's play, activities for children, raffle, silent auction, celebrity chef dessert auction, and the delicious BBQ tri tip beef dinner. For more information call 916 645 3517.


Rods & Relics Car Show
6th Annual Car Show - Lincoln
Saturday, June 2nd
Historic Downtown Lincoln
Begins at 7am with Boy Scout breakfast

Rods & Relics of Lincoln Hills and Lincoln VFW Post 3010 will host the 6th Annual Downtown Lincoln Classic Car Show open to all 1972 and older American Made or American Powered Vehicles.  Raffle prizes, Great Music, Great Food Vendors and fun for all in beautiful Historic Downtown Lincoln. NSRA safety inspections available.

Show to benefit the Gathering Inn, Ride to Walk, and Placer County SPCA.

Ask the Experts: Gardening with Kids
Master Gardeners at Adventures in Nature!
        Saturday, June 9th  11:00am- 2:00pm
       Placer Nature Center 


Bring the kids to learn how to start your own garden at home. Gardening is a great way to spend quality time with the kids (doing something that is fun) but it is also a great way to help them learn academic skills, like planning the garden, using math, and doing research. All participants will get seeds to take home and plant.
Takes place rain or shine! Make a day out of it and bring a picnic lunch.
Nature Shop open.
Free to
members, General Admission is $5/person.


Camp Fire at Maidu Museum 
Friday, June 15th    7:30-8:30pm
Maidu Museum Amphitheater

 Recreate the peaceful evenings of earlier days. Gather around the campfire for songs and stories. We’ll provide roasting sticks and marshmallows for a sweet program’s end.  Fee: $5/person, $16/family of four,    $5 each additional. Under 2 are free.

Celebrate America
Saturday, June 30th &

Celebrate America is one of the largest family-friendly events in the Sacramento area.  This year we are excited to have as our special guest, American Idol Finalist, Danny Gokey.The production includes a patriotic musical with over 150 cast members, a Black Hawk Helicopter presentation, Navy Seals Parachuting onto the venue, and concludes with a spectacular aerial fireworks display.  Also offered is a Kids Zone with fun inflatables, and delicious food vendors, featuring The Squeeze Inn!  Admission and parking is free!  So come on out and bring your family and friends!  You don't want to miss this event!
